Quick Start documentation.

Prerequisites

Before you get started with Sprint Organizer, make sure you’ve got:

• A Jira Cloud site you can manage
• An Atlassian account with the right license
• Jira Admin permissions or higher (System Admin, Org Admin) — required to access the Admin page and manage app settings

Installation Steps

Step 1: Head to the Atlassian Marketplace

1. Open the Atlassian Marketplace.
2. Search for Sprint Organizer for Jira or just jump straight to the Sprint Organizer for Jira page.
3. Click the app to check out the details.

Step 2: Install the App

1. Hit “Try it free” to kick off the installation.
2. Pick your Jira Cloud site from the dropdown (log in if you’re not already).
3. Review the permissions and click “Accept & install”.
4. Relax for a minute while the app installs (usually 1–2 minutes).

Step 3: Make Sure It’s Installed

1. Click the Settings icon (⚙) in the top-right corner and select Marketplace Apps, then click “Take me there”.
2. Look for Sprint Organizer for Jira in the apps list.
3. If the app appears on the list, it is installed and active — there is no separate “Enabled” status in the current version of Manage Apps.

Post-Installation Setup

Opening the App

After installation, you can access Sprint Organizer by following these steps:

1. Click the Settings icon (⚙) in the top-right corner and select Marketplace Apps {.img-center .img-medium}
2. In the left sidebar, click Sprint Organizer. {.img-center .img-small}
3. The Dashboard will open. {.img-center .img-large}

Initial Configuration

• If you are using Sprint Organizer without an active license, you need to configure up to three Scrum boards on the Boards Configuration page. Only sprints from these boards will be indexed and tracked.

• With an active license, all sprints across your Jira instance are indexed automatically, so no board configuration is required.

Note: During the first run, Sprint Organizer indexes existing sprint data. Depending on the number of sprints in your Jira instance, this process may take a few minutes before all information becomes available.
