Space Pages documentation.
Overview
Space Pages provide a space-focused workspace for monitoring and managing sprint activity.
Unlike Global Administration, which aggregates information across the entire Jira instance, Space Pages automatically limit all data to sprint boards associated with the current space. This gives teams a focused view of sprint activity without displaying information from unrelated spaces.
Space Pages include the same core functionality as Global Administration while presenting only space-specific data, making them ideal for Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Project Managers, and development teams.
The following pages are available:
- Dashboard – space sprint overview and recent activity
- Sprints – browse and search space sprints
- Sprint Audit Log – review sprint history and lifecycle events
All pages fully respect Jira's permission model.
Available Pages
📊 Dashboard
The Dashboard provides an at-a-glance overview of sprint activity within the current space.
It includes:
- sprint distribution by state,
- recently created, started, and completed sprints,
- key sprint statistics,
- quick navigation to sprint issues and Jira reports.
The Dashboard helps teams understand the current sprint landscape without manually opening individual Scrum boards.
📋 Sprints
The Sprints page provides a complete list of sprints associated with the current space.
Users can:
- browse every space sprint,
- search and filter sprint information,
- review sprint properties,
- customize visible columns,
- open sprint issues,
- navigate to Jira sprint reports,
- review sprint history.
It serves as the primary workspace for exploring sprint information within the current space.
🔍 Orphan Sprints
The Orphan Sprints page for a space helps administrators identify sprints whose original Scrum boards were deleted from that space.
Only orphaned sprints associated with the current space are displayed. A sprint appears on this page when:
- Its origin board belonged to the current space
- Its origin board no longer exists
- The sprint is not accessible through any other existing board
- None of the sprint's work items make the sprint available through another board
Administrators can use this page to:
- Find orphaned sprints originating from deleted boards in the current space
- Review their state and other available sprint information
- Identify the deleted origin board when historical information is available
- Locate work items still associated with orphaned sprints
- Change the board associated with an orphaned sprint by assigning it to an existing Scrum board
- Investigate sprint data remaining after boards in the space have been deleted
📜 Sprint Audit Log
The Sprint Audit Log records sprint lifecycle events for boards associated with the current space.
It helps answer questions such as:
- Who renamed this sprint?
- When was the sprint started?
- Who completed the sprint?
- What properties were modified?
Each audit entry includes timestamps, event types, user information (when available), and detailed change information to simplify troubleshooting and historical analysis.

Space Pages are intended for day-to-day sprint management within a single space and are particularly useful for:

- Product Owners
- Project Managers
- Team Leads
- Development Teams
By limiting information to the current space, teams can focus on their own sprint activity without navigating unrelated boards.
Relationship with Global Administration
Space Pages provide the same experience as Global Administration but within a narrower scope.

This consistent interface allows users to switch between organization-wide and space-level views without learning different workflows.
Data Synchronization
Space Pages display synchronized sprint information.
Sprint metadata, dashboard statistics, audit logs, and Sprint Reporting custom fields are refreshed automatically during background synchronization.
Because synchronization is asynchronous, recently modified sprint information may take a few minutes to appear.

Permissions
Space Pages fully respect Jira's permission model.
Users only see sprint information for boards and issues they are authorized to access within the current space.
Sprint Organizer never exposes information from inaccessible boards or spaces.
